Rootcubes® growing medium is an engineered hydrophilic foam specifically designed for optimal callus and rapid root development. This cutting propagation medium was designed specifically with the perfect balance of air and water to encourage plant growth and get unrooted cuttings off to a strong start. Rootcubes® growing media contains just the right amount of starter nutrients and are an especially economical propagation media. Rootcubes® allows for rapid nutrient availability without danger of salt accumulation. It is pathogen-free, providing an environment which helps reduce disease and insect problems. Sheets conveniently into a standard 1020 plastic tray. 2 Sheets per box.
Tips for using Rootcubes:
1. Soak the cubes in water or a cutting solution.
2. Dip 3-5 inch stem cuttings form the growing tip into rooting hormone.
3. Place the cuttings in the pre-made holes in the cubes.
4. Sprinkle water into the cube until it’s web, but not soggy.
5. Keep the cube in a warm, moist place in low light for the first 3-4 days, or until sprouts appear.
6. Maintain a daytime temperature of 75 degrees and a nighttime temperature of 65 degrees.
